As a brand new venture for 2019, we opened up a large storeroom at the rear of the shop and transformed it into a lovely purpose built workshop area. Some of our members now run workshops throughout the year teaching various crafts from a range of disciplines including felt making, silk painting, still life drawing, crystal jewellery introduction, yarn spinning, and bag making to name a few.
Following the success of the members workshops we have opened up the space to non-members also, to facilitate other types of art and craft, and to engage with the many talented people we have in our local community. We envision this space becoming a creative hub for people of all ages and from all backgrounds to be able to explore a new creative outlet in a warm, safe, encouraging environment.
